Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009, was a milestone day for the RISE Project and for the Shortgrass Library System.
That was when the TANDBERG video conferencing equipment was successfully installed in the Rosemary
Community Library. With the installation at Rosemary, all of the Shortgrass Public Libraries are now

On Thursday, July 16th, 2009 the Tilley & District Public Library was connected to the RISE
Network when the TANDBERG video conferencing equipment was successfully installed.

The second phase of the RISE installations has begun. On Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 the TANDBERG equipment was
successfully installed at the Rolling Hills Public Library. This is the first of the Phase II Shortgrass Regional Libraries

On Thursday, March 12th, 2009 the TANDBERG equipment was successfully installed at the Graham Community Library in Ralston.
The Graham Library was the last of the 18 RISE Pilot Libraries to receive their video conferencing equipment. There are now 18 public libraries
and three regional library systems (Chinook Arch in Lethbridge, Marigold in Strathmore and Shortgrass in Medicine Hat) throughout Southern

The TANDBERG equipment was successfully installed at the Redcliff Public Library on Thursday, February 12th, 2009;

The Medicine Hat Public Library (MHPL) joined the RISE Network when their TANDBERG
video conferencing solution was installed on Wednesday, February 25th, 2009.
Like Lethbridge Public Library, the equipment at MHPL included two 50 inch monitors.
