The RISE Project is very excited to announce that we have reached system completion!

After a long summer of installations, all 81 locations now have their video conference units!

The installations all went relatively smoothly thanks to our technicians from MTS Allstream and

your cooperation. We have all really appreciated your patience throughout this process.

Now, let the programming begin!

If you have questions about your new video conference unit or about programming, please speak to your RISE Consultant.

Here you will find tip sheets, troubleshooting, RISE Review's and other information that can benefit your library during the video conferencing implementation process.  This wiki is a collaborative effort and all RISE libraries are invited to share their problems and successes.  Moreover, this is a great forum to exchange programming ideas.  The RISEwiki can only be successful if YOU contribute.  It's easy to add to the RISEwiki and your knowledge can help to benefit your colleagues in libraries across Southern Alberta.

The wiki is organized similarly to how you organize the files on your computer.  Each wiki 'page' has been put into a folder.  The folder list is always displayed on the right hand side of the wiki screen.  Simply click on the applicable folder and you will be brought to a screen that lists all the 'pages' in that folder.  Click on the title of the 'page' you wish to access and it will be dispayed within the format of the wiki.  The folders are always listed on the right side of the screen so you can easily navigate throughout the wiki at any time.
